Marvin R. DeVries
M.Eng., P.Eng.
Mr. DeVries joined Trojan Technologies in 1988, as the Sales and Marketing Manager responsible for building and expanding the Company's global sales and marketing teams and market channel networks. From 1993 to 2003, Mr. DeVries served as Executive Vice President, providing global leadership to the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service activities.
Mr. DeVries was appointed President of Trojan Technologies in 2003. In 2004, Mr. DeVries led the process of transition from a successful publicly traded company (TUV:TSX) to the purchase of Trojan by Danaher Corporation. Trojan is the world's largest supplier of UV based treatment systems for water and wastewater treatment. Trojan's UV solutions have been implemented in municipal, industrial/commercial and residential applications in more than 80 countries with revenues in excess of US$170million.Prior to joining Trojan, Mr. DeVries worked as a Professional Engineer on water-related and infrastructure development projects in Bangladesh, India and Haiti.
Mr. DeVries is a Professional Engineer, having earned a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Engineering Degree, specializing in water and wastewater treatment. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Water Environment Federation and the American Water Works Association. Mr. DeVries is on the Board of Directors for the London Economic Development Corporation.
