Recall of Select TrojanUVMax Lamps
As a manufacturer committed to the highest quality and integrity, in April 2004 Trojan announced the precautionary and voluntary recall of all lamps for the following TrojanUVMax models: D, D+, E, E+, F, F+, Pro 7 and Pro 15
Steps to determine if you are affected by the recall: - Confirm you have an affected model (see side-bar)
- Verify that the safety cap on your system is grey. If it is not, and your cap is black, then your system does not require a new lamp. Either your system is newer or it has already been retrofitted as part of the recall. The safety cap is the plastic piece that covers the connection between the lamp and the cord that connects to it.
